Southern Visions Travel

is the collaboration of Antonello Losito, a native of Puglia and former professional cyclist and Michael Housewright, a 14 year wine, food, and travel professional. We offer well researched and implemented immersive journeys into the cultures of Southern Italy and beyond. We offer a range of cycling journeys from casual self guided to the pillar of guided luxury. Our walking trips are led by Puglia’s most talented and informative guide in natural, art, and cultural history. Our food and wine programs take you to wineries and introduce you to foods and food preparation no other company can offer. We live, work, and play in the places we take our guests.

Southern Visions Founder & President Antonello Losito

My name is Antonello Losito and I have lived in Puglia my entire life and recently have watched tourism take off in Southern Italy, particularly in Puglia. It wasn’t until I went overseas to spend some time traveling and learning about other cultures that I truly learned to treasure the region in which I live, the historical treasures that surround me and the Italian culture. My desire to share my culture with other travelers and show them around the region that I call home is the foundation for Southern Visions.

Southern Italy, while a wonderful region, is not an easy one for foreigners to connect to independently. Many of the best tourism suppliers are small, unknown and lack the infrastructure to promote their businesses to the wider international tourism market. And many suppliers do not speak any English. At Southern Visions we seek out the best suppliers and have created a large network of contacts that allows us to tap into the region’s potential through collaboration and partnerships. At Southern Visions we aim to connect our clients to the historical, cultural and culinary gems that are available within the region through the design and implementation of exceptional travel experiences. And, by overseeing all of the necessary services to deliver smooth trips in-house (transportation, bikes, accommodation, guides, etc.) we know we can save our clients time and money by providing an expert “one-stop-shop” location for every travel need.
