Otranto is a historic and picturesque seaside town, located in the heart of the Regional Natural Park along the Adriatic coast. Otranto is Italy’s easternmost point, where the sun rises in the morning and from where, on some days, you can see the mountains of Albania.

Your adventure will start by sea kayak, paddling slowly on the crystal-clear waters, along the route followed by the Turks, through the hidden corners, caves and uncontaminated beaches. You will visit the stunning Grotta Monaca (Monk Cave), where you will do “speleo-snorkeling”, exploring marine treasures of this enchanted sea, discovering natural tunnels dug into the rock, white stalagmites and stalactites of pure calcite, and also a colony of bats which lives there. You will follow the coast, exploring other coastal caves that open along this coastal path (Grotta Sfondata) and you will finish in the enchanting bay that guards the Mulino d’Acqua Beach where you will then be able to snorkel.
