Snorkeling over the Roman Ruins
Specially designed for aficionados of ancient history, to give a different perspective of the archaeological site

The Roman City of Egnazia was one of the most important harbors on the Adriatic sea. This experience has been specially designed for aficionados of ancient history, to give a different perspective of the archaeological site.
Meet local marine specialist at the old Acropolis of Egnazia just above the old port. See the old tombs right alongside the water. Once in the sea with your snorkeling gear, you can make out the ancient jetties, made by the Romans to create a safe harbor for their boats. Changing facilities are available at the Acropolis. After the snorkeling, there is the option to visit the main archaeological site and museum on land.
